Ranks & Grades
Below are the Cub Scout ranks and associated grades for each rank.
Each rank has a handbook that can be purchased online or at the Simon Kenton Scout shop near OSU.

Class A - Basic Uniform Information
Note: Uniform shirt can be in long sleeve or short sleeve. Uniform bottoms can be shorts or pants.
Lion
T-Shirt and Hat
Tiger
Pants, Belt, Shirt, Hat, Slide & neckerchief.
Wolf
Pants, Belt, Shirt, Hat, Slide & neckerchief
Bear
Pants, Belt, Shirt, Hat, Slide & neckerchief
Webelo & Arrow of Light
Pants, Belt, Shirt, Hat, Slide & neckerchief
Basic Patch Placement
Each uniform has a few basic patches. American Flag, Council Patch, Pack #, & BSA Patch. Basic badge placement is the same for the blue or tan uniforms.
NOTE: Most of the basic patches (all except den & pack #) can be bought pre-sewn on at the Simon Kenton Council BSA Shop.
Right Shoulder
America flag is placed on the right shoulder.
Left Shoulder
Left shoulder. Council badge is at the top, underneath if you have a den # patch, followed by the pack number 3 or 4 digits
Front
Front right chest is the BSA placement,
Advancement
Badge placement for advancements.
Lion through Bear
After completion of all requirements, patches are placed on the left chest area.
Webelo & Arrow of Light
After completion of all requirements, patches are placed on the left chest area.
Arrow of light is the only cub scout patch that is carried into Boy Scouts.
You can purchase cub scout uniforms and patches at the online scout shop, or stop into the Simon Kenton store.
Class B - Uniform Information
Class B uniforms are Scout Branded shirts. These can be T-Shirts, Hoodies, or others. These are purchased secondary to the Class A.
We will typically wear class B shirts for Den/Pack events depending on the circumstance.
